Inga-Lill Andersson

Inga-Lill is the head of the Stockholm office and EIP’s practice in Sweden. She is a highly experienced European and Swedish patent attorney, having her expertise within chemistry and life sciences.

Before joining EIP in 2022, Inga-Lill worked at AWA for more than two decades. Inga-Lill has handled all types of patent-related issues, including drafting and prosecution of patent applications, freedom-to-operate analyses, and due diligence investigations. She has also been deeply involved in patent litigation cases before Swedish courts.

Her excellent work has been recognised and she has been listed as a Patent Star by Managing Intellectual Property, as a recommended individual for prosecution in the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals, and as a WIPR Leader. She has also been listed as one of the ‘Top 250 Women in IP’ and has been recognised in "WIPR Influential women in IP".

Inga-Lill also has extensive leadership and management experience. For six years, she held the role as a Business Area Manager, AWA North Sweden, and was also a member of the Swedish management team. She has experience of expansion into new markets and has been heavily engaged in the establishment of a new office.

Inga-Lill holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering specializing in Biotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. She also received CEIPI Diploma in European Patent Litigation from Strasbourg University in 2015.
