Carl Bryers

Carl joined EIP having completed a PhD in Space Physics at Lancaster University. His primary area of research involved studying artificially created Aurora at a research facility in Norway. Carl’s research included accelerating electrons in the plasma of the Earth’s ionosphere along magnetic field lines using high powered radio waves, and modelling and studying their interaction with atmospheric gases. Carl is the author of four research papers published in a number of Space Physics Journals.

Carl has a first class master's degree in Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology from Lancaster University where he studied a wide range of subjects including particle physics, lasers and fluid mechanics.

Carl is a UK and European patent attorney with seven years' experience in Intellectual Property. Carl qualified as a patent attorney in 2018 and has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
